This calculator takes the given dimensions and allows you to add or remove the lid and back panel to customise it exactly to your needs.
The lid is operational and comes with gas struts to allow for extremely easy opening.
Width
The width is measured from edge of post to edge of post. Please bear in mind that the base plates extend an extra 25mm past the edge of the post.
Depth
The depth is measured from edge of post to edge of post. When allowing for a lid, only set depths can be used to allow for the slope of the lid, whereas with no lid a manual dimension can be entered. Please bear in mind that the base plates extend an extra 25mm past the edge of the post.
Height
When allowing for a lid, the height is measured from the floor to the top of the enclosure at the rear. The lid then slopes forward leaving the front height 50mm lower than the back.
When allowing for no lid, the height is measured from the floor to the top of the enclosure, there is no slope.
With Lid?
This is stating whether or not you would like your enclosure to have a lid. This lid comes with gas struts for easy opening and closing.
With Back Panel?
This is stating whether or not you would like a back panel for your enclosure. For example if you were mounting the enclosure against a wall, you could forego the back panel to save on cost.
Unfortunately due to the nature of how our enclosures are assembled, there needs to be set heights for us to fabricate them easily. This is determined by increments using the slat size and gap size.
In regards to the set depths, this is needed when there is a gas strut lid allowed for. Set increments are required for easy assembly and operation of the lid.
